Abstract. The scientific heritage of famous physiologist and first Russian Nobel laureate I.P. Pavlov is very many-sided. Pavlov — is a founder of unique scientific school, he is a "father" of Russian physiology. In the article the author wanted to show the value of Pavlov's discovery in contemporary psychology.
