The scientific journal “Medical psychology in Russia” is publishing original articles on actual psychological problems in medical practice.

The aim of the issue — is to create a scientific area, where specialists can discuss the actual problems of thorough and applied investigations in medical psychology in Russia.

The journal was confirmed the international standard number for serial issues (International Standard Serial Number): ISSN 2219–8245 by International ISSN Centre (Paris, France).

The journal is included into International ISSN List under the next titles: the key title Medicinskaâ psihologiâ v Rossii. The abbreviated key title: Med. Psihol. Ross.

Scientific publication ethics and publication misconduct prevention

The scientific editorial council of the online scientific journal Medical Psychology in Russia works in accordance with the international ethical guidelines for scientific publications, including guidelines on integrity, confidentiality, publication supervision, consideration of potential conflicts of interest etc. The editorial board follows the recommendations of the Committee on Publication Ethics, the Publishing Ethics Resource Kit by Elsevier and, in particular, the Scientific Publications Ethics Code, developed and approved by the Committee on Publication Ethics.

Duties of Editors, the Editorial Board, and the Reviewers of the Journal

The editors of the journal shall evaluate the manuscripts for their intellectual content without regard to race, gender, sexual orientation, religious belief, ethnic origin, citizenship, or political philosophy of the authors.

Any manuscript submitted for review is considered as a confidential document. The editor and the editorial board shall not disclose any information about a submitted manuscript to anyone other than the authors, reviewers, potential reviewers, other editorial advisers, and the publisher, as appropriate. None of them shall use the unpublished data, obtained from the manuscripts submitted for consideration, in their own research without the written consent of the author.

Editors, reviewers, and editorial advisers shall withhold themselves from considering manuscripts in which they have conflicts of interest resulting from competitive, collaborative, or other relationships or connections with any of the authors, companies, or, possibly, institutions related to the manuscript.

The scientific editorial council shall take appropriate retaliatory measures in case of ethical claims concerning considered manuscripts or published materials.

Duties of Authors

Authors of articles should present an accurate account of the work performed as well as an objective discussion of the research significance. Authors should provide all data related to the manuscript upon request of the editor.

The authors should submit their own new (not published in other editions) original work, and if the authors have used the works or words of others, they should ensure that this has been appropriately cited or quoted.

No part of the publication may be reproduced in additions of any forms (printed, i-net and others) without editorial stuff permission.

Published materials may be used in personal noncommercial aims only — in scientific, educational and e.t.c.

When materials from “Medical psychology in Russia” are quoted, the reference on the journal is necessary.
