Abstract. The article described philosophy and psychological approaches to adolescence phenomenon. The article considered the retrospective view on adolescence, the problem of the adolescence limits at the view of native and abroad investigators. It is necessary to carry out the thorough investigation of adolescence phenomenon in the context of actual social-cultural and historical conditions of personality development.
