People with suicide attempt recurrent suicidal tendencies prevention

Abstract. The suicidological aid is one of the labor-intensive processes in all system of the psychological, medical and social help to the population. As a material of the given research have served 500 patients who have made suicide attempts, and are being hospitalized about it in a psychiatric hospital of Moscow. We had been developed the original differentiated system to prevention of suicide behavior taking into account stages of suicide process. It is possible to allocate four levels of prevention: universal, selective, anti-recessionary and indicative. Indicative preventive maintenance is directed on the prevention of relapses and repeated suicide actions. The basic tasks of indicative preventive measures are stabilization of "personal anti suicidal barrier", psychotherapeutic work with nearest milieu, and also dynamic medical observation and treatment, if the suicident has a mental disorder. The effectiveness of preventive maintenance determined during three years. The 92,7% of the people who have made attempt at suicide did not repeat this. Thereby, the prevention and therapies programs of suicidal actions should have complex character.
